On November 13th, OR GRIS won Prix Claude Munet Grand Prix d’Angers, a good race won by good horses in the past (his cousin RENNETI was 2nd of it in 2012 and then he had a very nice career in Ireland: Gr II winner on the flat and over jumps).
Ridden by Eddy Hardouin, he started at the back of the field, nice and quiet… started coming closer at the entrance of the last bend and took the lead (almost a bit too soon) and performed a very nice finishing straight and won easy.
Eddy told us: “I came sooner than planned but it was OR GRIS who started and nearly carried me away, and I could not take him back at that stage of the race.”
We are absolutely thrilled because OR GRIS (by Gris de Gris) was bred by us and he is the first foal of Caprice Flore…therefore we can hope for the best for her progeny.
And what about the joy of our partner Marie-Cécile de Saint Seine!!
