At Lion d’Angers on July 16th, DEAUSEILLE finished 3rd in Prix Henri de Barmont, a cross-country race over 4500m (2m6 1/2f).
Ridden by Clément Lefebvre, she performed a superb race. She was going very easy at the one but last fence but she did a funny thing as if she was making a mistake…
Explanation from Clément: “when landing, she caught the rubber boot of one of her hind legs and I thought she was injured, therefore I didn’t insist, but she started again to get the 3rd place…without this incident, I am sure I would have been second
We put rubber boots on her hind legs because she has a tendency to loose hind shoes and the rubber boots protect the shoes. Unlucky… but we might also have fallen!!
