Time for retirement

XAAR MORINIERE ran the last race of his career at Moulins on May 22nd and finished 4th in a cross-country race.

This good old servant now aged 13, is still quite healthy, but as his “feet ache” sometime, it seems reasonable to retire him.

XAAR was not a champion, but a decent race-horse… whimsical, slightly temperamental….and always there when he had decided it!

A few facts and figures about XAAR: ran first time out in 2001 (ten years ago), ran a total of 69 races for: 7 wins, 47 places and 180 000 euros prize money.
