Second time out, FLEUR DE L’AIR opened her record at Moulins on August 23rd ridden by Pierre Charles Boudot in Prix d’Auteuil, a flat race for AQPS (non-thoroughbred) fillies over 2500m (a mile and 4 ½ furlongs). She started in 3rd position and kept that place all around. Pierre Charles took her out at a furlong from home and she finished well and won by a length.
This filly is incredible because in the morning she always looks asleep and only does the very minimum… and in the afternoon she becomes a “race filly”… Good for her because sometimes it is the opposite…morning glories who win all their gallops but do the very minimum when racing.
