DOUX DINGUE did a comeback race at Auteuil on September 17th in Prix Laniste: a chase for 5 and 6 year-olds AQPS (non-thoroughbred) over 4400m (2 miles and 6 furlongs).
Ridden by Ludovic Philipperon, he started at the back of the field…he jumped so well that he came closer by himself. In the far straight he was 4th, 5th and well placed out of the bend… he then finished very well to get the second place.
Ludovic was very enthusiastic and told us: “a good, very professional jumper, I only gave him one strike to finish… Definitely a good horse!”
We are re-assured because he didn’t perform well in the spring although he was worth it. Thank you to his owner Paul Terpereau and his breeders Haras de la Rousselière for their patience…
