At Chantilly on November 12th, TRUCO won his first race (he had run 3 times before and was in the frame 3 times) in a maiden race for 3 year-olds over 1900m (a mile and 1 ½ furlong). He is a real specialist of the AWT on which he is going so easy.
Very well ridden by Benjamin Hubert, he started in 6th, 7th position, came a bit closer outside the bend and performed a very nice finishing straight, getting the first place quite courageously.
TRUCO is by Sepoy and Tropa de Elite (an American mare) and was bred at Haras du Mézeray for his owner Arthur Mendes. You’ll have to follow this beautiful, late developing horse because his potentialities are huge and he is only at the beginning of his career.
