First time out for a two-year-old

It is always very exciting in a stable when the first two-year-old of the year is debuting.

It was the case for VALDO BERE by Hurricane Cat out of Former Probe at Chateaubriant on May 28th and it was rather successful as he finished 3rd on 1100m (5 1/2 furlongs).

Right out of the stalls he found it hard to follow the pace but got balanced in the final straight and finished well. His jockey Adrien Fouassier reported that VALDO BERE was a bit afraid to go in between other horses but that he was very pleasant when he found his action.

This colt bred by Haras de la Haie Neuve is certainly a horse for the future.
