The news

First race= First win

GASCONNE ran first time out at Fontainebleau on September 19th, in Prix Jean Gillois: a maiden race for 3 year-old AQPS (non-thoroughbred) fillies over 2600m (1 mile and 5 furlongs).

Ridden by Pierre-Charles Boudot, she was well placed all around… and at mid straight, there was a movement (for which there was a stewards ’enquiry) but she pulled herself together and finished well.

When getting off, Pierre-Charles told us: “she has got running!... but when she took the lead, she was surprised and leaned to the left… but in spite of this movement which stopped her, she went forward quite well.”

GASCONNE is by Rail Link out of Bastide and she belongs to her breeders the Magnien family.

  An interesting filly to follow!
